Nicer Tuesdays: Tracy Ma
By watching this online visit, I learned a lot of skills that designers should learn, such as the ability to integrate information, analyze hot issues, and help readers understand information.
As she said, designers need a lot of time to research and find information, grasp the main visual elements, and present them to readers. This is a necessary work ability for designers. I very much agree with the interviewer’s point of view. Sometimes we often produce amazing works and rarely consider readers’ feelings. This is wrong. Our work should be to convey information to the audience with the most intuitive images, videos or small animations, not to produce works that are incomprehensible. This is the key to communication design. Communication means communicating with the audience and conveying information, not showing off one’s own technology.
In the end, designers need to learn more new technologies to improve themselves and achieve better visual effects.

Avatar Robot Café
By watching this video, I realized that there are many disabled people in this society. Their lives are unable to take care of themselves, and they are even gradually out of touch with this society. They can’t even find the meaning of their lives. I think this design is very good. It can help them through new high technology, help them find their own life value and solve their own employment problems.
Before watching this video, I did not consider that there are a large number of disabled people in society, they are painful and helpless. In Avatar Robot Cafe, the disables can remotely control these robots, giving these robots that have no emotions to have feelings, and also helping them.
High-tech should serve mankind, serve all mankind, and also include these disabled people, so as to change the lives of disabled people and reflect their value in life. Although there will be some difficulties in the middle of this road, the direction of this design is very correct. I like this design very much. Designers must not only help ordinary people, but also help these disabled people, change their lives, and let them participate in this society.
In the end, I very much sigh that this practice is full of a sense of the future, turning sci-fi movies into reality, and mankind is moving towards a higher civilization, using technology and design to change every ordinary person.
